We are seeking two Business Support Officers to provide professional administrative support service to the Health and Public Safety team.

The Business Support Officer (Public Safety) role will be the first point of contact for external stakeholders and customers with enquiries relating to animal management, outdoor dining, fire prevention, civil compliance, permits, parking and expiation notices.

The Business Support Officer (Environmental Health) is generally the first point of contact with the public and external stakeholders with enquiries regarding food safety, mobile food vendors, public health complaints and wastewater applications.

Our ideal candidates will be proficient at providing excellent customer service to a range of internal and external stakeholders, backed by demonstrated experience in providing a range of administrative and research support services under minimal supervision. A certificate level qualification in Business Administration or related field and previous Local Government experience, is desirable but not essential.
