
Environmental Health Support and Immunisation Officer

Help deliver immunisation services and support environmental health initiatives that keep our community safe and well. We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to coordinate key public health programs and provide essential support to our Environmental Health team.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver council’s public and school immunisation programs, ensuring compliance with the Public Health Act 1997.
Maintain accurate records, manage vaccine logistics, and support cold chain protocols.
Provide administrative support across environmental health services, including food safety and public health licensing.
Respond to community enquiries and help manage key communication channels such as brochures, website content, and internal reporting.
About you
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confident using Microsoft Office and general office systems.
Ideally, experience or involvement with immunisation programs and relevant software and knowledge of the current Australian immunisation schedule.
A valid driver’s licence and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
What we offer you
Base salary between $75,071.65 and $86,731.41 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% superannuation
Fixed term (12 months), full-time
