  • 2 - Ongoing/ Full-Time positions
  • Located in Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available
  • Clerk Grade 7/8 | $110,266 to $ $122,058 p.a. plus super & leave loading

About the role

  • Coordinate program activities to support Aboriginal outcomes

  • Monitor data, reports, and program progress to inform decisions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback and insights

This role sits within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Team, which is key in delivering culturally grounded programs and policies that improve outcomes for Aboriginal children, families, and communities.

As a Programs Officer, you'll support the planning, coordinating, and evaluating key initiatives while helping build meaningful partnerships across the sector to ensure programs are respectful, inclusive, and effective.

About you

  • Knowledge of Aboriginal cultures, communities, and protocols
  • Skilled in program coordination and stakeholder engagement
  • Able to monitor data and prepare clear, accurate reports
  • Confident in supporting community-led, culturally safe initiatives
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative and respectful approach
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
  • This position is designated for the employment of an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
