The Company

Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained to identify a high-performing and driven Enterprise Senior Sales Professional who thrives in a strategic, solution-oriented environment (as opposed to transactional SaaS sales environments). Our client is a market leading global B2B Technology business offering mission-critical technology solutions to the Financial Services and Insurance sector.

With a substantial market share globally, and on a strong growth trajectory, the firm is now looking to further expand its operations in Australia and New Zealand with a clearly defined strategy to penetrate a new segment for the business. This is an exciting net new business generation opportunity for an energetic and motivated technology Sales Professional with a consulting mindset, a customer-first sales approach and the ability to be a true 'Market Maker'.

This is an innovative company providing high-value bespoke cutting-edge core system software solutions that integrate seamlessly with their customers' existing technology stacks. The implementation of these systems requires a significant transformation programme of work within the customer's business and as such success requires strong project management skills bringing multiple stakeholders including external partner firms together.

The Role

Reporting into the VP APAC, The Senior Sales Executive will own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure. They will play a crucial role within the business working closely with the firm's external partners, financial service regulators and a large internal support teams to increase the firm's market share in Australia and New Zealand.

The successful candidate is expected to identify relevant potential prospects and develop strong relationships within the target market in ANZ to build a healthy pipeline and drive sales.

This is a value-based complex solution sales role with long sales cycles and high ACVs spanning several years. It is essential that the successful individual is a 'Market Maker' with a customer centric mentality, a thorough understanding of software sales cycles and a methodical approach to progressing opportunities through a bespoke sales plan they have devised for each target account.

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for:

  • Driving new business sales, targeting predominantly new logo accounts as well as mining opportunities for growth with existing customers.
  • Leveraging a consultative sales approach to map client pain points positioning the firm's technology as a 'must-have' value-add solution.
  • Securing and leading face-to-face meetings with business leaders and decision-makers (CTO, CIO, CFO, CEO, EGMs, Heads of etc) within the firm's target marketplace.
  • Selling solutions that transform mission-critical core systems within organisations, understanding the complexities of regulated environments.
  • Accurately managing a forecast in Salesforce.

Your Profile

Are you a strategic, consultative sales professional with a proven track record in enterprise software sales in Financial Services / regulated industries? Are you driven to achieve sales excellence and have an understanding of complex large scale business transformation? Do you thrive in complex sales cycles, working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to craft tailored solutions?

Our Client is Seeking:

✔ 5+ years' experience in enterprise grade B2B technology sales (preferably Core Systems, SaaS, Insurtech, or Fintech).

✔ Proven success managing long, complex sales cycles with deal sizes of $1M+.

✔ Strong background in consultative/solution selling, ideally with a background on professional services.

✔ Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder sales (C-Suite, IT, Operations, Finance).

✔ Confident working with system integrators and technical teams to create bespoke client solutions.
