About the Role
Leading a close knit team, from the goods-inwards to the repair workshop and of course the sales floor, your aim is to support & grow confident, knowledgeable, service orientated, technical sales-people – not just order takers.
We don't hold you to account with ANY KPI's. We want you to provide industry leading, exceptional in store experiences by finding solutions and offering helpful advice to our customers, and making sure the shelves are full and the shop is tidy.
Your commitment to consistently delivering highest standards of service & stock holdings, combined with understanding and knowledge of high-quality tools and equipment from the best trade and industrial focused brands will see us achieve this (and see you and your team earning genuine uncapped commissions not diluted by KPI's!)
The Roster:
As a Full Time member of our team, you will work an 11-day fortnightly roster:
Week 1: Monday – Friday 7am to 4pm
Week 2: Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm plus Saturday 8am to 4pm
*We are closed every Sunday and National Public Holidays, and we don’t open late night Thursday.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships our suppliers and customers
- Liaising with suppliers, internal departments & other stores and our Business Development Representatives to exceed customer expectations
- In-store inventory management from ordering to daily/rolling stocktakes (not one giant one per year!)
- Daily cashup routines
- Training and development
- Maintaining consistently high shopkeeping standards
- Reporting to Accounts, Purchasing, Marketing, HR, Distribution Centre and other departments as required.
- As a TradeTools Store Manager, you do not have to do in-depth rosters or budgeting and you will have a great deal of assistance from your Regional and HR team to manage the Employee lifecyle. This means you have more time to focus on the success of your team and your store!
