Team Leader - Turf Installation Commercial Division

Job Overview

The Team Leader of the Commercial Division plays a key role in the installation of turf for our clients. The functions of this role include ensuring the Commercial Team works together to a high standard and assisting the Commercial Manager in completing offsite jobs.

It is expected that the incumbent of this position will undertake other reasonable duties and tasks requested by their supervisor, within their capabilities, including additional duties as required during periods of absence of other staff.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead & work as part of a team to ensure commercial jobs are completed to a high standard, with signoff by client/customer.

Liaise with manager and other company divisions as required.

Prepare ground and install roll-on turf

Operate equipment and machinery as required, and ensuring servicing is up to date.

Ensure Commercial Compound is organized and well maintained.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential:

Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions

Hold an unrestricted C-class driver's license

Flexibility for early starts eg. 5-7am with possible late finishes eg. 3-5pm

Ability to be punctual, work regular hours during the week with overtime where required.

An eye for detail and ability to not only lead a team, but to work with the team.

Able to work in a team environment.

Desirable:

Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent.

HR or HC Driver's License

Forklift Ticket

Experience in landscaping and/or sports turf management.

White Card

Valid First Aid accreditation or willingness to obtain

Inductions and training provided.

Opportunity for a new or recent graduate to be trained for this position.

Pay rate is a guide only and will be determined on qualifications, skills and experience.
