Tradewind are working with an independent, co-educational Christian school in the beautiful Northern Beaches who are looking for an enthusiastic History teacher to join their team. Join this well-respected school in a full time, permanent position starting term 3 2025. Experienced teachers and graduates are encouraged to apply.

Demonstrated Experience and Skills

• qualifications to teach HSIE, the ability to teach History is essential
• demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners and respond to a dynamic learning environment
• desire to work as part of the wider school team
• evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
• effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
• excellent communication skills
• ability to achieve strong academic results
• a strong understanding of and commitment to Christian education and the Christian development of students

Prerequisites:

• Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
• Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
• Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
• Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
• Ability to provide a Christian Church reference
