The team plays a critical role in ensuring services are retained and optimised across various sections, supporting key deliverables through strategic procurement and stakeholder engagement.

Your New Role
As an EL1 Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing procurement and contract processes, ensuring compliance with government frameworks, and supporting labour hire and consultancy engagements.

Your duties will include:

• Managing RFQs and procurement activities in alignment with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
  
• Overseeing contract extensions and variations, ensuring all adjustments are finalised before EOFY deadlines.
  
• Supporting large-scale workforce procurement, particularly in data and mediation services.
  
• Drafting labour hire recruitment documentation, ensuring compliance and efficiency in hiring processes.
  
• Engaging with Financial Business Partners (FBP), Procurement Advisory Service (PAS), and Recruitment teams to provide expert guidance and support.
  

What You'll Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management within government sectors.
  
• Strong understanding of procurement frameworks, including CPRs and financial governance.
  
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise across multiple teams.
