About the Role

The Plant Health Policy branch would like to engage the services of Program Support Officer for the scheduling role as a valuable interface between MTDT and the Biosecurity Plant Portfolio Board, and a key participant in helping us meet our reporting obligations to support the program lead and executive for the Biosecurity - Modern Technologies and Diagnostic Tools (MTDT) to improve the speed and accuracy of pest and disease identification at the border.

Key Duties

• Generate schedules and identify milestones for operations and assurance project activities (except if other arrangements are in place ie LIMS)
• Work with program leads to regularly monitor and update schedules and milestones. * Advise program leads when change request is required.
• Guide program leads in developing product statements and associated quality requirements as needed.
• Manage the risk/issues register and work with Michael and Julie when risks/issues emerge.
• Generate product and milestone reports for Program manager to advise the board - to do this, it will be necessary to become familiar with how we are using DevOps to collaborate across program areas, track 'products or artefacts' and pull these from DevOps into a reportable format, eg with Microsoft Project.

EL1 hourly rate contract, 12-months + possible extension
Can be located nationally across Australia
