About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kindergarten teacher to join our dedicated team at Annie Dennis Children's Centre in Northcote, Victoria. This is a part-time role is in a multi-age kindergarten 3-5 year old age group currently with 16 children per day. The role will involve guiding and nurturing our young learners through their early childhood education journey.

What you'll be doing

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programs for a kindergarten group

Observe, assess and document children's learning and development, and use this to inform your teaching practice

Foster a caring, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports each child's individual needs

Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community

Collaborate with your team to ensure a cohesive and high-quality early learning experience

Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification

Registered as a teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching

Minimum 2 years' experience as a kindergarten or early childhood teacher

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Ability to create engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's development

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
