About the role

We have an exciting and rewarding support opportunity to share with you. Located in Upper Coomera, we are seeking Registered Nurses to work with a non verbal 30yr old gentleman with a Brain Injury. Your role would be to support the client clinically with all medications, seizure management and behaviour management. Your role will also be supported by Disability Support Workers on each shift.

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Manual handling
• Advance seizure management
• Behaviour management
• Personal care
• Continence management
• Medication administration
• Domestic assistance
• Rehabilitation exercises

About you

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Previous nursing experience (minimum 2 years)
• Manual handling experience (essential)
• Personal care experience
• Current AHPRA and CPR
• Yellow card/NDIS Screening Card
• Working with children check

We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client-focused.
