About this role:

GRG is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a School Cleaner. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the School premises. The School Cleaner will be instrumental in maintaining a tidy environment conducive to learning and well being.

The role involves cleaning (wiping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, emptying bins) the School’s facilities, including classrooms, corridors and common areas, bathrooms, office spaces, and sporting facilities.

The ideal candidates will display a positive attitude, have attention to detail, can work with minimal supervision, provide excellent customer service, and have pride in their work. They will also have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions by the Team Leader. This labor-intensive role suits a reliable and energetic person.

Other details:

Working hours are from 5pm to 9pm Monday to Friday (20 hours per week)

Annual leave is taken during the non-term time (School holidays) and generally during December – January when cleaning demands are low.

The successful candidate must have a Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration number.
