An exciting opportunity has arisen for Data Engineers with Databricks experience to join our client's rapidly growing division on a high-priority compliance project.

You will be working with a great team that prides itself on its culture and collaboration. We at Circuit have had the pleasure of representing this client in the market for a few years, and couldn't praise their people and culture any higher!

The Data Platform is hosted on Databricks, and the (Senior) Data Engineers will be developing data pipelines, streaming processes (PySpark), as well as contributing to the infrastructure (DevOps, CI/CD, IaC).

Skills and Experience required.

• Strong Programming and Coding skills with SQL and Python are essential.
• Experience with Azure (ADF, Synapse, Azure DevOps) is preferred but open to AWS experience.
• Experience building data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
• Working knowledge of data platform engineering is strongly desired.
• Experience working within a medium-sized Enterprise previously.
• Strong track record of Data Engineering previously (5+ years)
• An eagerness to work in a team environment, a fast pace, and a delivery-focused compliance-related project are key.

Desirable Experience.

• Strong experience with DataOps
• Experience in software engineering, ideally within a Data slant
• Track record liaising with key stakeholders and non-data line managers.
• Working knowledge of DBT is a bonus.
• Working knowledge of Docker, IaC (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelining is desirable.
• Confidence working with Agile practices.
