JV are seeking a skilled and reliable Roof Tiler to join our team in Sydney, specialising in residential roofing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of new tiled roofs as well as the restoration and repair of existing ones. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely at heights.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install roof tiles on new residential builds (terracotta, concrete, or slate)
• Conduct restoration work on existing tiled roofs, including cleaning, replacing broken tiles, and re-bedding/ridge capping
• Prepare roof surfaces by removing old tiles and repairing roof structures
• Ensure all work is performed according to building codes, safety standards, and client specifications
• Operate hand and power tools required for roofing tasks
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a roof tiler (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Sound knowledge of different tile types and installation methods
• Familiarity with restoration techniques including re-pointing and waterproofing
• Ability to read and interpret roofing plans and specifications
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather
• Valid White Card (Construction Induction)
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
