About the Role

We are seeking to employ hardworking and motivated individuals to join our growing livestock team and assist with the day-to-day operations of the feedlot.

Key Responsibilities:

Pen Riding – either on horse or foot. Maximum of 3 horses. Brand new stables, facilities and paddocks available for applicants with horses.

Involved in all aspects of animal handling in the feedlot including health check, induction, drafting, trucking, and other associated feedlot stock movements.

Experience with low stress stock handling and knowledge of animal welfare is preferable

Diagnosis of animal health symptoms & administration and recording of health treatments

Cleaning and maintenance of water troughs and livestock handling facilities.

About You

Our ideal candidate would possess strong stock handling skills, a genuine passion for livestock care, and a proactive approach to animal welfare. You are reliable, have a strong attention to detail and an understanding of daily feedlot operations. You possess a team-oriented attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Integrity and a strong work ethic are highly regarded traits of our ideal candidate.
