About you:

You are an amazing Disability Support Worker with behaviour support experience, ideally looking for work in or around the Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich & Gold Coast areas. You are comfortable working with people with complex behaviours who need significant supervision, care and guidance. You excel at maintaining a safe environment and are competent in ensuring compliance is always maintained.

You are good at managing stressful situations whilst providing first-class care. Your English and comprehension skills must be excellent.

Disability Support Worker - Behaviour Supports (CASUAL POOL)

About the role(s):

We are looking for Disability Support Workers to join our CASUAL POOL team across the Brisbane area, including Logan, Redlands, Ipswich & Gold Coast.

Although we cannot offer you consistent shifts, you will receive first access to any available shifts across our houses.

You will be involved in the client's daily routines. Providing personal care and social support, and implementing positive behaviour support strategies. Writing progress notes and incident reports during your shift.

Flexibility to work with short notice, providing coverage for staff who are unable to work on the same day or week.

The successful candidate MUST have:

Experience working with participants who have complex disabilities and behaviours

Australian driver's license & own car

Comprehensive Car Insurance

Qualification (minimum certificate 3 in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care)

First Aid/CPR Certificate

Flexibility and willingness to work at night

NDIS Worker Screening Card

Current Police check/certificate

Rights to Work in Australia

Working with Children Card (Blue Card)
