The Role:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Retail Buyer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for floral trends, experience in purchasing and inventory management, and strong negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase fresh flowers and related products from suppliers

• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement

• Monitor market trends and customer preferences to forecast demand

• Manage stock levels, rotate inventory, and reduce wastage

• Maintain supplier relationships and visit the Sydney Flower Market regularly

About You:

• Previous experience as a buyer, preferably in the floral, fresh produce, or retail sectors

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Passion for flowers and seasonal trends

• Ability to work early mornings (especially during market days)
