Designa Accessories is a leading distributor of watches and jewellery throughout New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and Australia. We are currently seeking a hands-on and experienced Visual Merchandiser to work with our wide variety of clients.

The role will be for 22 - 25 hours per week, with flexibility on the days / hours per day worked. You could work school hours or 3 full days, as long as it is fixed days / hours so we know when someone is in the field.

This role will require you to liaise and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and actively promote the performance of our brands for our retail partners through implementation of brand assets, assortment planning, and visual merchandising of our products in adherence to brand guidelines and customer needs.

The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, a clear communicator and have a keen eye for detail to ensure our brands are presented to the highest possible standard.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

Develop & manage call cycles to ensure efficient territory coverage

Assist in the implementation of the strategic marketing and promotional activities for the brands represented – for example, plan and implement new season campaigns, secure /maintain prime position in retailer doors, install and maintain branded fixtures and displays.

Ensure the company’s products are displayed prominently in prime display locations at all points of sale and current POS and signage material, relevant to each brand represented

Empower store teams to handle customer objections and communicate features and benefits of our brand portfolio through formal and informal training.

Liaise with GM, Brand Manager, and National Accounts Manager on performance of key accounts to ensure merchandising efforts are driving results in centrally managed major retailers in the territory.

Promote a positive performance culture across the customer network.

Own car with current drivers license (mileage paid)

Experience in visual merchandising and/or retail sales essential

Experience within retail industry, particularly fashion and accessories is highly desirable but not essential
