My client is a Top 100 accounting firm that is looking to expand its business advisory team in Western Sydney. Not just your everyday compliance-driven accounting firm, they are specialists in advising and implementing solutions for their clients and service a range of SMEs and multinationals in construction, manufacturing, professional services, medical and logistics industries.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, responsibilities will include:

Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for companies, individuals, partnerships, trusts, SMSFs

Preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT returns

Identification and evaluation of various issues including Div7A, PSI, CGT issues

Preparation of budgets, cash flow and provide CFO services to large groups

Tax planning and preparing advice on small business concessions, effective structures, asset protection and tax minimisation strategies

Mentor and train Junior and Intermediate Accountants

Applicants:

As the role will be client-focused, they are seeking a business minded individual with an ability to build on existing relationships. In addition to this, the applicant will be:

CA/CPA qualified or upon completion

Approximately 4 (or more) years’ experience in an Australian public practice firm

Possess great communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Motivated, eager to learn and hands-on
