Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced Storeperson/Driver to join our busy Warehouse and Logistics team on a full time permanent basis.

Your Role
In this role you will be responsible for the efficient and effective running of the Warehouse, including the answering and forwarding enquires to personnel and maintaining accurate stock records. Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor you will ensure that safe working practices are adhered at all times, as you assist in the monitoring and checking of inward, outward and current stock and equipment.
To be successful you will have:
Current HC or MC driver’s licence
Forklift Ticket
Minimum of 1-2 years previous warehouse experience
Excellent communication and presentation
A working understanding of OH&S issues within a warehouse environment

History
From its original settlement by the Ngaro Aboriginal tribe, to its visit by Captain Cook in 1770, and evolution as a tourist destination in the 1970s and 1980s, Hamilton Island has had a long and interesting history.
