Role Details
We are currently seeking a Senior Program Officer, Voice of Child Coordinator to join the Strategic Policy, Partnerships and Reform Directorate.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with stakeholders on policies, programs, services and decisions that make a positive impact on children and young people.
Providing timely and accurate advice to management and key stakeholders on service strategies, policies, procedures and operational issues.
Monitoring best practices, community trends and key stakeholder perceptions, particularly with regard to children and young people in care.
Preparing high quality written documents, including briefings and reports, for a range of stakeholders within the required deadlines.
Developing processes and guidelines with a view to promoting active participation by managers, supervisors and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in working under limited direction and dealing with conflicting priorities to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in engaging, consulting, liaising, negotiating and resolving conflict with a broad range of stakeholders.
Knowledge and understanding of services and service sector capacity in the area of care and protection.
Experience in analysing complex issues, developing practical solutions and proposing actions to solve issues.
