About the Role
As a Principal Advisor, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing operational security policy frameworks and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and regulations. You'll provide expert advice on operational security matters, develop and deliver training programs, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
Key areas of focus will include:
• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of operational security risks and threats
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and developing strategies to address emerging threats
• Providing expert advice and guidance on operational security matters, including policy development, risk management, and compliance
• Developing and delivering training programs to enhance operational security awareness and knowledge
Essential Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:
• Expertise in operational security, policy development, and governance
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Desirable Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with specialized skills and knowledge in:
• Electronics, electrical engineering, or PLC (computer science)
• Project Management Certification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile)
• ISO 27001 lead implementor or lead auditor
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
