About the role
Asham Health Pty Ltd is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Receptionists, podiatrists and physiotherapists to join our growing medical practice in Melbourne. These are part-time (potential full time) opportunities to be part of a supportive team providing high-quality primary healthcare to our communities.
What you'll be doing (list not exhaustive)
For the receptionist, taking calls from patients, making calls, processing various documents, helping our patients, projecting the image of the practice in a good light, keeping the practice clean and tidy. Assisting with the coordination of patient appointments and flow through the practice
Answering patient enquiries, booking appointments, and managing the reception area
For the, physiotherapist and podiatrist: practice within your scope and according to your professional training
For the nurse, providing nursing care and support to patients, including administering medications, performing routine examinations, and monitoring patient progress. Collaborating with other healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Others:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with medical documentation requirements
Participating in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance your nursing/administrative skills
What we're looking for in a nurse:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) qualification and current AHPRA registration
Strong clinical skills and experience in a primary healthcare or general practice setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing compassionate, patient-centred care
Proficiency in using medical software and technology to support efficient patient management
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Receptionist applicants should have prior experience in a medical/healthcare environment and excellent customer service skills
ability to use your initiative appropriately
