Join a Leading Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Team

A Private Specialist Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Practice is seeking an experienced and passionate Sonographer to join their cutting-edge team in Melbourne.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment, supporting innovative general, vascular and image-guided treatments. You'll work closely with the Radiologists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality diagnostic and procedural ultrasound services in an outpatient and inpatient hospital setting, across a wide range of vascular and interventional procedures.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

· Performing high-resolution ultrasound examinations (no cardiac or obstetrics scans)

· Supporting image-guided procedures in the angiography suite and consulting rooms.

· Collaborating with radiologists, nurses and admin staff to streamline patient care.

· Maintaining accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

· Ensuring compliance with safety, infection control and privacy standards.

· Providing a compassionate and professional experience for every patient.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Criteria:

· Accredited qualifications in Medical Ultrasound.

· Current registration with ASAR.

· Minimum 2 years' experience in ultrasound imaging (private or public setting).

· Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology and procedural support.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

· Passion for quality imaging, clinical excellence and patient care.

Desirable:

· Interest in research, training and process improvement initiatives.
