About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Posi Track Loader and Excavator Operator to join our team of skilled professionals. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently operate machinery in demanding environments and is ready to contribute to both mining and town-based projects.

When working on mine sites, all meals and accommodation will be provided, along with a site allowance paid in addition to your hourly rate.

Please note: Applicants may be required to participate in an on-site Verification of Competency (VOC) (approx. 2 hours) as part of the employment consideration process.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Operating machinery combos (truck, excavator, and skid steer loader)

Performing daily pre-start checks on all plant and equipment

Transporting machinery safely to and from various sites

Loading and unloading equipment from trucks and trailers

Conducting preventative maintenance

Identifying and reporting mechanical issues, and assisting with repairs

Performing manual labour when required

Meeting project deadlines

Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors

Excavator Tasks May Include:

Trenching

Installation of bunds, batters, and drains

Safe use of implements such as flail mowers and rock grabs

Detailed excavation for concrete works

Posi Track Tasks May Include:

Turf preparation

Slashing and other attachments in tight spaces

Safe operation around ground crew

Backfilling trenches and concrete pads

Requirements:

Bobcat/skid steer ticket

Excavator ticket

HC licence (or willingness to obtain)

Construction White Card

Civil site experience (preferred and highly regarded)
