About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Radiographer to join our Medical Imaging Team.
This is a part time, fixed term (12 months - with the possibility of extension or move to permanency) role working across both the Leongatha and Korumburra campuses.
As a Radiographer at GSHS you will be responsible for:
Organise the patient flow for the area which you are rostered (CT, General X-Ray, Theatre & Bone Densitometry)
Completing examinations in an efficient and timely manner
Ensuring the correct equipment and consumables are available
General troubleshooting of equipment
The supervision of student radiographers when on placement
Effective communication between clinical and non-clinical staff
About You
The successful applicant should possess the following:
Degree qualified (Medical Imaging Science or similar)
AHPRA Registered Radiographer
Experience in CT and/or mammography (preferred)
IV cannulation certificate (preferred)
A willingness to work in a team environment
A focus on patient best care, quality and safety
Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. All applicants will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check.
