About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Selection Officer to lead and provide expert advice on the University’s VTAC and Direct Admissions processes, ensuring alignment with University policies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Manager of Admissions, Pathways, and Credits to support the efficient administration of all admissions-related activities.

There are X2 full-time continuing position at a HEP 6 classification with salary range being $88,691 - $96,001 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation working 36.75 hours per week.

Some of role’s duties include:

Responsible for assessing and making selection decisions using the VTAC system and the assessment of direct applications, processing credits and ensuring timelines for selection are met.

Identify and monitor pathway cohorts, establish eligibility to progress, ensure the timely issue of enrolment advice and recording and processing of associated advanced standing.

Support the Manager, Admissions, Pathways and Credits in the review, planning and implementation of all Admissions- related processes and activities to ensure efficient operations and a high level of service to future students and other internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

We are seeking a candidate with a background in social work, education, or related field and a passion for working with students from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will:

Possess strong communication and organisational skills.

Be a creative problem solver with strong critical thinking skills and ability to work with stakeholders

Demonstrated understanding and experience of admission, credit, and pathways.

With proven ability of working collaboratively and productively within a diverse team
