The Role

As a Mobilisation Support Officer, you will assist the Mobilisation Manager in executing strategies for a smooth transition to the new Maintenance Services Agreements, Yarra Valley Water's largest field services contract valued over $1billion for the contract term, within our Asset & Field Services division. Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll update processes, implement new procedures, and ensure internal teams are trained for the partnership model shift.

Your key responsibilities

• Support in the documentation of current requirements and processes utilised in delivery of our Responsive Maintenance services across the business.
• Provide support and insights to other Yarra Valley Water teams and divisions, such as planning, operations, and service response, with regards to mobilisation and demobilisation tasks.
• Support in the implementation of training opportunities to ensure staff are adequately trained in the new delivery model(s)
• In collaboration with our Readiness Support Officer, execute actions identified in Yarra Valley Water's change management plan to support with transitioning new processes and systems into BAU.
• Support in administration and delivery of tasks associated with Yarra Valley Water's bespoke mobilisation plans for our new Delivery Partners.
• Support in execution of the demobilisation plan for existing contracts, ensuring continuity of service is maintained.
• Identify and document where there are significant opportunities to improve customer experience and/or productivity, in relation to contract mobilization and demobilisation.
• Support Asset & Field Services staff in delivery of task associated with our business system integration plan to ensure data from the field can be captured within Yarra Valley Water's asset management system.
• In support of the Mobilisation Manager, establish and manage contractor and internal meetings, tracking actions and reporting on progress of deliverables.

What we're looking for

• Proven ability to build strong relationships and effectively negotiate with multiple stakeholders
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Experience in process improvement, design and implementation
• Experience in process mapping, creating compelling business cases, and developing benefit realisation plans
• Practical experience in change management, including assisting with the implementation of new procedures, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting training initiatives to prepare internal teams for the transition
• Strong time management skills, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality
• Tertiary qualification in business, program/project management, engineering, science or equivalent discipline - desirable
