We have an opportunity for a Stores Coordinator to join our marine workshop team and take ownership of our Central Store. You will be coordinating the purchasing, receipting and tracking of goods and services whilst maintaining adequate and cost-effective inventory levels. In addition, you will coordinate the efficient management of the Central Store located at our Operations Base ensuring the area is kept clean, well-organised and where goods can be accessed safely including pallet shelving requiring forklift access.
Highly organised, good attention to detail, and great with people: here’s who we’re looking for.
- You have a good understanding of warehousing and distribution and the importance of effectively managing stock inventory lists including critical spares.
- You can communicate effectively, build rapport with the crew and take ownership of the Central Store.
- You are comfortable to learn how to drive a forklift if you don’t already have your forklift licence.
- You can remain effective and systematic and are driven to deliver results and take accountability for all assigned work.
- You are resilient and enjoy working within a small team environment.
- You are savvy with systems and you continuously search for the best solution!

You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. You’ll also be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a national police check and a fitness for work assessment.
As there’s no public transport to our sites, you’ll need a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
