About the role

SEQ Retaining Walls is seeking an experienced Concrete Sleeper and Boulder Retaining Wall Builders and Labourers to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As a Retaining Wall Builder, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality retaining walls for residential and commercial clients. This is a full-time position, offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting design plans and specifications to construct retaining walls using a variety of materials, including concrete and stone

Measuring and marking out work areas to ensure accurate placement of retaining wall components

Operating machinery and equipment, such as excavators, jackhammers, and power tools, in a safe and efficient manner

Collaborating with the project manager, landscapers, and other tradespeople to ensure the successful completion of each project

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, following all relevant health and safety regulations

Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Retaining Wall Builder or similar role in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of retaining wall construction techniques, materials, and industry standards

Ability to read and interpret design plans, specifications, and technical drawings

Proficient in the use of power tools, machinery, and other construction equipment

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Commitment to safety and adherence to work health and safety regulations

Strong communication and customer service skills

Flexibility to work on-site and adapt to changing project requirements
