A job to be proud of:

Reporting to the Financial Performance & Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for taking a lead role in the management of our local accounting function. The Senior Management Accountant will work closely with the executive team and the senior management team to support the strategic decision-making process of the business. This opportunity would be suited to a commercially savvy and experienced management accountant wanting to join an established brand name.

What you’ll do:

  • Experience in supporting and providing direction to people through various reporting lines.
  • Highly developed understanding of accounting principles and ability to apply them in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience in preparing monthly board packs and other management reports within required timeframes.
  • Confidence with working in a highly commercial environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work across a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in Financial modelling.
  • Prior experience in coordinating reviews with business unit’s senior management and the executive team to ensure performance and financial targets are met.
  • Ability to assist in financial projects, tender preparation, contract drafting as and when required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

What you’ll need:

  • Extensive post-graduate experience as a Management/Corporate Accountant.
  • Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
  • CPA or CA – fully qualified.
  • Adaptability and flexibility with the ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables.
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work autonomously and manage independent workload.
