As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and capable Office Manager to ensure the seamless daily operations of our firm and support our expanding team of professionals.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a well-organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Office Manager to oversee the administrative functions of our busy accounting practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, managing staff support, and maintaining high standards of client service. This role aligns with the ANZSCO 512111 classification for migration purposes.
Key Responsibilities (as per ANZSCO 512111):
Implementing and monitoring office administrative systems, procedures, and policies
Overseeing and coordinating office activities and workflow to ensure operational efficiency
Supervising administrative staff and assigning tasks to ensure deadlines are met
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
Maintaining records management systems, filing, and archiving
Managing budgets and financial records related to office operations
Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and training of administrative personnel
Organising meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
Ensuring workplace compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
Contributing to the development of office strategies and process improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in office administration or office management, preferably within a professional services or accounting environment
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and support a diverse team
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based office systems
Familiarity with accounting practice management software (e.g., Xero Practice Manager, MYOB, or similar) is advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of business administration principles and confidentiality requirements
