ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Store Person, you will be responsible for maintaining and delivering inventory across site operations, in a safe and efficient manner. Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and health and safety regulations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Ensure the quality of goods and materials accepted into the warehouse and supplied to internal customers and reporting any damaged goods.

Perform regular, accurate stock takes as required. Inspection of work area, equipment and stores for hazards, damage and defects.

Identify and investigate anomalies between physical and recorded stock levels.

Ensure the availability of catalogued items and report any discrepancies.

Accurately administer receipt and dispatch of inward and outward goods from the warehouse to ensure equipment can be easily located and retrieved.

Accurately pick and pack goods within the warehouse.

Efficiently use the computer-based store system.

Conduct housekeeping and security duties within the store and compound.

Assist in Month end duties such as stock item issues, fuel dips, as required.

Maintain excellent relationships with internal customers and stakeholders.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Ensure the safe operation of machinery, such as forklifts where required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Current unrestricted WA “LR” License and Forklift ticket.

Supply / Purchasing certificate or diploma (highly desirable).

Satisfactory National Police Clearance.

Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable).

Demonstrated experience in warehouse role

Previous experience with purchasing software systems (Pronto, Eclipse, SAP, etc.)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills with a proven customer service focus

Strong computer literacy skills

Can work autonomously
