Leading Australian owned International Freight Forwarder & Customs Brokerage seeking a locally experienced TEMP Import/Export Operations Clerk / Customer Service to support Operations team. Located in SYD HO @ Mascot.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Handle import shipments from PO Placement and management through to delivery and billing.

Manage customer accounts.

Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries, issues, and concerns as well as develop new opportunities in different trade lanes, services.

Report and be responsible for day-to-day account performance, escalation as required.

Assist in acquiring documentation for clearance

Confirm delivery address / requirements if unknown

Lodge SCA

Check transhipments if applicable.

Clear delivery orders and relay to carriers

Check LCL availabilities (predominately FCL orientated though)

Monitor Customs status

Support team with adhoc duties

ABOUT YOU:

2+ years Import or Export local Freight Forwarder experience

1+ years experience with Cargowise1

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication and computer skills

Adaptable

Excellent Customer Service skills

relationship building skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a Contract role for approx 3-6 months and may lead to full time opportunity in future

To qualify for this role you must have current local experience within International Freight Forwarding and have full working rights in Australia!
