About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our vibrant café team at Gett Grounded in Caloundra, Queensland. In this casual position, for now, but can move to a full time position for the right candidate. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages and light meals to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your barista skills and contribute to the lively atmosphere of our new and vibrant popular café.

What you'll be doing

Jamming with a fab team on a set or rotating roster Mon-Friday 5.30am to 2pm

Preparing a range of coffee, light meals and specialty beverages to our customers' specifications

Ensuring high standards of coffee quality and presentation

Providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming café experience

Assisting with general café duties such as restocking, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy work environment

Collaborating with the team to support the efficient operation of the café

What we're looking for

At least 1 year of experience as an advanced Barista in a similar café or hospitality setting

A passion for coffee and a keen eye for detail in crafting high-quality beverages

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a friendly and efficient service

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment

A team-oriented approach and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the café
