Glenesk Farming is a family-owned business just outside of Dalby growing irrigated cotton, grain and pulses.

Due to expansion of our businesses outside of Agriculture, a position has come available for an Assistant Manager position.

We are looking for a candidate experienced in irrigation cropping, who wants the freedom to operate without direction, and effectively manage day to day operations through strong foresight, planning and execution whilst having the support and guidance of the farm owner.

This is a hands-on role, in a team environment where the candidate will need to lead a small team as required, and operate independently, contributing to all farm duties including machinery set up and operation, maintenance of machinery and irrigation infrastructure, irrigation duties, logistics etc. MC license is highly desirable. Glenesk Farming currently does very small amounts of local contracting and therefore you can be home every night.

Strong communication skills, coupled with problem solving aptitude and a positive attitude would describe the correct applicant.

Glenesk is conveniently located within 2Km from the edge of Dalby, and the candidate will have the opportunity to live in a beautiful family home in town as part of their remuneration.
