About the role

OSAN Ability - Craigieburn is seeking passionate and caring Female Support Workers to join our team in Altona, VIC. As a casual support worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live independently and engage with their community.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Accompanying and supporting clients during community outings and social activities
• Providing emotional support and encouragement to help clients reach their personal goals
• Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
• Adhering to all organisational policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar support worker or caregiving role
• A genuine passion for working with people with disabilities and a commitment to making a positive difference in their lives
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
• Patience, empathy, and a collaborative approach to working with clients and their families
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, are highly desirable
