An established organisation based in Subiaco is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to support their finance team during a peak period. This is a broad role offering exposure across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking, and general finance tasks.

This role is looking to be for around 2-3 months, and will see you working closely with the Management Accountant and wider finance team.

The Role

• Enter and monitor purchase orders to ensure accuracy and currency
• Process supplier invoices and verify those entered by others
• Reconcile supplier statements and ensure payments are made in line with terms
• Maintain supplier records and respond to internal and external queries
• Generate and manage invoices in coordination with departmental teams
• Process remittances and bank receipts
• Maintain customer records and manage debtor follow-ups
• Reconcile outstanding receivables
• Perform weekly bank reconciliations
• Reconcile petty cash, floats, and cash takings
• Handle secure banking of cash

About You

• Strong experience in transactional finance
• High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Immediately available
