Our client is a federal government organisation with offices throughout Australia. Due to growth, they are seeking multiple APS5 Data Test Analysts to join their team in any of their following offices - Richmond and Geelong

• 12-month initial contract plus 12-month extension
• Hybrid with 3 days per week onsite
• Federal government role - Australian citizenship required

Reporting to the Actuarial Data Analytics (ADA) - QA Lead/Manager, the Test Analyst is responsible for:

• Assisting with the implementation of the ADA Quality Assurance framework in all projects, products or initiatives
• Helping define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery
• Help coordinate test activities with the Product Owner (System Test, SIT)
• Help build the test cases for each release and ensure test coverage of traceability to requirements and solution
• When required, perform various tests on data and reports, finding defects, retesting and regression testing
• Assist with monitoring the test process and leading the team to ensure the test goes to plan

3. Understand Software Quality Assurance best practices and enterprise data warehousing practices

Desirable criteria
1. SQL skills
2. Experience testing Salesforce CRM Analytics Dashboards
