We’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to hit the road and sign up machinery sellers across the state. This is a face-to-face, field-based role — perfect for someone who loves being out in front of customers and thrives on new business development.

About the Role

As a BDM at Machines4U, you'll be:

Door knocking, cold calling, and building strong relationships face-to-face

Signing up machinery sellers to advertise on our website

Offering sellers a hassle-free way to move their assets

Supported by professional valuers who price equipment accurately

Using HubSpot CRM to manage your pipeline and report progress

Covering metro and regional areas (occasional overnight travel required)

About You

You’re a natural relationship-builder with a proven ability to sell face-to-face. You’re driven, self-starting, and love the chase. You know your way around machinery sales, the hire industry, or auctions — and you’re comfortable with a high volume of outreach.

To be successful, you’ll have:

3+ years’ experience in face-to-face B2B sales (on the road)

Background in hire, auction, or machinery/equipment industries preferred

Confidence in cold calling and signing up new business daily

CRM experience (HubSpot highly regarded)

Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel (some overnight stays)
