What You'll Do (but not limited to):

• Identify, triage and report areas of potential Anti Money Laundering and Fraud risks.
• Provide leadership and hands-on assistance with Crypto fund transaction investigations.
• Lead the development and implementation of key indicators and report to the management team.
• Lead the development and maintenance of the investigative methodology and supporting processes.
• Contact clients and relevant parties to gather appropriate facts to conduct the investigative processes.
• Develop proactive intelligence relating to financial crimes, including money laundering, fraud, terrorist financing, sanctions, corruption and high-risk customers.
• Ensure Employee training program and awareness is operational and fit for purpose.
• Prepare and submit Suspicious Matter Reports to AUSTRAC as required.

Who you are:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial services, fintech or customer facing role.
• Critical thinker with fast decision-making ability.
• Experience with KYC trust, SMSF and company accounts in a financial services company.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• A proactive work approach, i.e., problem solving, finding better ways to complete tasks.
• Exposure, understanding and interest in blockchain / digital assets industry.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for compliance within the financial services environment.
• Understanding of the AML CTF Act, Corporations Act & Privacy Act.
