About Us

NT Scaffolds Pty Ltd is a Territory-owned scaffolding company delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient access solutions for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory. As part of our continued growth and operational excellence, we are seeking a qualified Warehouse & Yard Administrator to oversee the daily management of our scaffolding equipment facility in Darwin.

This position is critical to the planning, coordination, and control of materials, equipment movement, and site logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising yard staff, managing inventory and dispatch schedules, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinating the receiving, storing, assembling, packing, and dispatching of scaffolding materials.

Managing stock control processes and conducting inventory audits to ensure accuracy and availability.

Supervising loading and unloading of trucks and monitoring vehicle movements in and out of the yard.

Maintaining clean and safe work environments in accordance with WHS legislation.

Liaising with field supervisors to align inventory and dispatch with project timelines.

Monitoring maintenance schedules and inspection records for all reusable scaffolding components.

Supervising and training a small team of yard workers and general labourers.

Using warehouse management systems to record, track, and report on logistics activity.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Relevant Certificate-level qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Warehousing Operations, Logistics, or equivalent); or at least two years of relevant work experience in a comparable warehouse or yard supervisor role.

Forklift Licence (mandatory); MR or HR driver’s licence (desirable).

Construction Induction (White Card) certification.

Experience with scaffolding equipment (preferred but not essential).

Competence in using inventory management or warehouse software systems.

Demonstrated understanding of workplace safety, manual handling, and risk management procedures.

Physically fit and willing to work in a hot, outdoor environment.

Strong interpersonal, planning, and communication skills.

Willingness to undertake and pass regular drug and alcohol screening.

Ability to provide or obtain a current National Police Clearance.
