An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Statutory Planner to join the City Development Team. The position seeks a highly experienced planner to work with a diverse range of applications and projects, which contribute to livability, sustainability and growth.

To join Councils diverse team of planning professionals, the successful applicant will be required to:

· To assist in the research and preparation of reports pertaining to planning applications in order to facilitate a review process conducted by both Manager City Strategy & Development and Council

· Demonstrated ability to promote planning principles to members of the public, relevant authorities and internal Council departments

· Tertiary qualification in town planning or an associated discipline

The Benefits
This is a temporary full time position until 12 June 2026 with a current base salary of $87,860 per annum + superannuation.
