Overview:

Boom Build have recently launched Boom Projects, our small works division that is catered to clients looking to build projects that vary in scope and price, while still delivering unparalleled results and an exceptional experience for the client. We believe that there is a tremendous opportunity for business growth in this sector and we are looking for a person who is a confident operator, both onsite and with project admin, comfortable leading multiple sites, and is driven to grow into a leadership position over time. Supported by our administrative team, you will ultimately be responsible for new business development and project management from enquiry through to competition.

Role Responsibilities:

New Business Development: Reaching out to enquiries, conduct site visits, craft detailed and competitive tenders, and work with our Operations Manager to grow our marketing efforts.

Project Supervision: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of all projects, adhere to all safety requirements, manage all stakeholders, including clients and contractors.

Project Delivery: Ensuring projects are of high quality and delivered to budget and schedule

Project Administration: Ensure correct coding of costs, PO’s issued, and job costs tracked.

Key Attributes:

Extensive building knowledge and experience across residential construction and passionate about building (minimum 5 years)

Proficient in basic computer software and construction management systems (knowledge of Procore and Smartsheets a plus)

Strong communicator, who is passionate about working with people and delivering exception client outcomes and creating a collaborative working environment on site.

Excellent problem solver

Excited to take ownership of their role and growth of this division.

Experience with administrative side of the role (e.g. quotations, cost coding, managing schedules)
