About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Caretaker to join our team at Dawn Edition, a beautifully designed townhouse community in Helensvale.

This is a part-time onsite role working three days per week, with Mondays and Fridays essential, and Wednesday or Thursday flexible. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the presentation, safety, and functionality of all common areas across the community.

Key Responsibilities

Groundskeeping and Landscaping:

Maintain and enhance the appearance of the common area landscaping, including lawns, gardens, median strips and internal shared areas to the highest standard.

Maintain cleanliness, functionality and orderly presentation of all common areas including common pathways, driveways, restrooms, and other public spaces.

Perform routine gardening tasks such as watering, trimming, pruning, weeding, raking, planting, mulching and fertilizing throughout the community and external areas.

Conduct regular inspections of the townhouse complexes to identify & action maintenance needs and oversee maintenance works with external contractors as needed.

Monitor and maintain the condition of common areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications and Skills:

High knowledge and or previous experience of gardening and or caretaking duties is preferred.

Basic knowledge of general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, general maintenance and repairs.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks.

To excel in this role, you should possess a genuine love for gardening and a desire to make a difference. While prior experience is advantageous, it's not a prerequisite. We're more interested in your enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to learn.
