Do you possess a genuine passion for empowering young learners in math and English? Are you a natural at connecting with students, making learning engaging and enjoyable? At Write with Confidence in South East Melbourne, we're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals like you – whether you're an experienced primary school teacher or an ambitious education student – to join our vibrant team of private tutors.
Imagine the satisfaction of witnessing a student's "aha!" moment, knowing you played a crucial role in their academic growth and confidence.
In this flexible, subcontrating role (starting with 3-5 hours per week, primarily after-school with priority for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons), you'll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with primary school students in their homes or at our premises, directly impacting their learning journey.

We provide the curriculum, allowing you to focus on what you do best: delivering engaging lessons and tailoring your approach to individual needs. This is an exceptional environment to hone your teaching skills and build invaluable experience that will translate to any educational setting.
As you flourish with Write with Confidence, so will your opportunities. Expect pathways to expand your hours, take on greater responsibilities, and see your compensation grow as you become an even more confident and adaptable educator.
More than just a job, we offer:
Comprehensive Support: Benefit from training modules, weekly meetings during your first month, and ongoing coaching to elevate your tutoring expertise.
Fuel Your Passion: Enjoy free lunch during our engaging workshop trainings.
Connect and Grow: Participate in fun team-building activities like movie nights and scenic trips.
Work-Life Balance: Reclaim your weekend evenings – our tutoring hours are primarily after school.
Invest in Your Future: Access opportunities for professional development courses to enhance your literacy teaching skills.
Are you the ideal candidate? You likely have:
Previous or current tutoring experience.
A valid Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one).
Your own ABN (or the ability to obtain one).
A current Victorian driver’s license and a registered vehicle (essential for travel to students' homes).
Availability primarily for after-school hours, with strong availability on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
