We have a permanent full-time vacancy for a Business Services Support Officer at Queensland’s leading law library, Supreme Court Library Queensland (SCLQ).

The Business Services Support Officer provides high quality, professional administrative support services that contribute to the effective operation of the library across core Business Services areas such as finance, human resources, information technology and systems, facilities, and communication. You will also support the Library Committee and its subcommittees, which include senior members and key stakeholders of Queensland’s legal sector.
Scope of the role
Provide professional and confidential executive support for the Library Committee and its subcommittees, including:
overseeing, maintaining and improving the committee and subcommittee administration process
managing memberships and the committee portal
coordinating meetings of the Library Committee and Financial and Risk Management Subcommittee, including:
preparing meeting agendas and reports
taking accurate meeting minutes, and managing meeting actions
coordinating meeting appointments and correspondence with members
setting up before and cleaning up after meetings (including, as required, online meetings)
In line with library policies and procedures, provide accurate, timely and efficient administrative support services, including:
supporting the library in finance and human resources functions
supporting communication and change management activities
coordinating and supporting policy development and administration
managing correspondence and requests sent to and from Business Services
supporting staff recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities
coordinating workplace health and safety and evacuation and emergency duties
coordinating building maintenance requests
supporting events management activities
assisting with analytics and reporting
coordinating our employee assistance program with an external provider
Provide input into the development and maintenance of effective administrative and Business Services systems and procedures, including identifying potential efficiencies and enhancements to processes and systems
Remuneration is competitive: from $69,440 annual salary, plus leave loading and superannuation. Working conditions are flexible and family friendly
