Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and ready to join a well-respected independent optometrist? We are looking for a friendly, dedicated Receptionist/ Optical Assistant to become part of our busy team.

The Role:

Communicate clearly and warmly with patients and visitors, addressing their needs promptly.

Use your expertise to help patients select frames that fit their needs and preferences, ensuring they look great.

Maintain a clean and organised practice environment to enhance the patient experience.

Manage the delivery of patient jobs and contact lens orders, including HICAPS claiming and EFTPOS transactions.

Fit spectacle lenses, perform adjustments, and handle repairs (experience is preferred but we will provide training).

Schedule:

Every Monday 9:00am - 4:00pm & Friday 9:00am - 2:00pm

Cover for full-time staff during holidays and sick leave

Potential for additional hours during busier periods

Training:

Initial training will be provided on weekdays before starting.

Requirements:

No specific skills required; a willingness to learn and basic computer experience is essential.

Customer service and/or optical experience is highly valued.
