Role and Responsibilities

Occupational therapy services provided to clients under In-Home Care funding - HCP, CHSP and STRC packages. Some regular duties include:

Assessment and prescription of assistive technical devices and equipment appropriate to the needs and goals of the clients/customers

Completion of Home Safety Assessments with appropriate recommendations

Assessment of mobility and function for the provision of mobility and functional equipment

Assessment for the recommendation of appropriate home modification recommendations aligned with the Australian building standards

Communicate assessed needs clearly and precisely to clients / customers

Liaise with families, specialist services and other stakeholders as appropriate

Skills and Qualifications

Occupational Therapy Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent as approved by AHPRA

Minimum of 1 year experience in the community / in-home setting (desirable)

Drivers’ license and reliable vehicle

Valid NPC or NDIS WSC, or willingness to obtain

2025 Flu Vaccine Certificate, or willingness to obtain

COVID vaccine certificate, or willingness to obtain
