About the role

This is a casual courier position with a small family business, based in Mackay, QLD. The role involves delivering a variety of packages and documents to customers in the local area. The work type is casual, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work around your other commitments.

What you'll be doing

Pick up and receive packages and documents for delivery

Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries

Safely transport and deliver items to customers

Obtain customer signatures upon delivery

Maintain the vehicle and ensure it is clean and well-presented

Provide excellent customer service throughout the delivery process

Comply with all traffic rules and regulations

What we're looking for

A valid driver's licence with a good driving record

Strong time management and organisational skills

Excellent customer service orientation

Good physical fitness to handle lifting and carrying parcels

Knowledge of the local Mackay area and traffic conditions

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
